You learn to tie several knots underwater and you bring an object weighing up to 10 kg to the surface by using a lifting device.

It is possible to use your own regulator and combine it with a check-up or full service. Also tips and tricks are given such as what to look out for when buying diving equipment and how to find and solve the cause of problems with diving equipment on site. Please note that the Equipment Specialist course is NOT an official license to service your own equipment. Always have this done by a professional.

This specialty, in addition to the theory module, consists of 2 open water dives. During this course you will learn to set the shutter speed, aperture and focus, change the ISO value and take into account the camera angle and placement of the subject. It is possible to use a camera from MaiDiving during the specialty.
In addition to the theory module, this specialty consists of 1 pool dive and 2 open water dives. During this specialty you learn to correctly unload, perform a controlled descent and ascent, avoid a dry suit squeeze and stay neutrally trimmed.
